- 3 tablespoons butter

Instructions
- Prepare the chicken: Cut the chicken breasts in half lengthwise to create thinner cutlets. Season both sides of the chicken cutlets with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Lightly dredge each piece in flour ensuring an even coating.
- Sear the chicken: Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken cutlets and sear them for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Sauté mushrooms: In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and sliced cremini mushrooms. Cook the mushrooms for 5-6 minutes until they are soft and browned. Add minced garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant.
- Deglaze the pan: Pour in the white apple vinegar to deglaze the pan. Scrape the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits. Allow the vinegar to reduce by half over 2-3 minutes.
- Make the creamy sauce and finish cooking: Stir in the heavy cream to the reduced vinegar and mushrooms. Return the seared chicken breasts to the skillet and simmer everything together for an additional 5 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
