Description

This No-Bake Banana Split Cheesecake is a delightful and effortless dessert perfect for summer gatherings. Featuring a graham cracker crust, creamy cheesecake filling, and layers of fresh banana, pineapple, and strawberries topped with whipped topping, chocolate chips, and peanuts, it perfectly captures the flavors of a classic banana split without the need for baking.

Ingredients

Scale

Crust

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Cheesecake Filling

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Fruit and Toppings

  • 2 medium bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
  • Maraschino cherries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×9-inch baking dish to form an even crust. Refrigerate for 15 minutes to allow it to set properly.
  2. Make the Cheesecake Filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy. This forms the rich cheesecake layer.
  3. Assemble the Layers: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust. Next, layer the banana slices over the cream cheese, followed by an even layer of crushed pineapple and then chopped strawberries to build the fruity layers.
  4. Add the Whipped Topping: Spread the whipped topping evenly over the fruit layer to add lightness and creaminess to the cheesecake.
  5. Add Toppings and Chill: Sprinkle mini chocolate chips and chopped peanuts over the whipped topping. Optionally, garnish with maraschino cherries for a classic banana split look. Chill the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight to set completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • To prevent banana slices from browning, lightly toss them in lemon juice before layering.
  • For extra flavor, drizzle chocolate or strawberry sauce over the top before serving.
